K Angel is an autistic, kinky, trans/non-binary writer, performer, and researcher from the American Midwest.
A two-time participant in the HBMG Foundation's National Winter Playwrights Retreat and shortlisted for the Virago Furies Competition, their projects across form and genre play with myth, consent, chosen community, and metamorphosis interruptus.
Recent projects include The Road Again: a post-apocalyptic queer cowboy musical, which sold out its initial run at A Pinch Of VAULT Festival, Clusterfluff, an immersive circus exploration of queer nightlife history and lineages across the UK, and the poetry collection Another double text, forthcoming from kith books.
They live in London, where they co-host the playwriting group Fresh Lines Writers and the generative workshop series Relatively Queer, consult to the charity sector on data literacy, and sometimes perform as the singing country drag king TrucK.
