  • THE ROAD AGAIN: A Post-Apocalyptic Queer Cowboy Musical

In this post-apocalyptic queer cowboy cabaret with an 'around the campfire' vibe, Ledet and TrucK regale you with original music about everything from gay little broken hearts, evil doers brought to justice, under-taught Texas history, sarcastic reclaimings of some of country-western's most toxic traits, and queer country joy. THE ROAD AGAIN imagines an end-times where queerness reigns and prickly found family gets your soul fed each night. Come for trans pride, nuanced history lessons, and a cowboy vigilante buddy comedy road-trip love story all wrapped in one sweaty bedroll. Saddle up!

THE ROAD AGAIN debuted at The Glitch as part of A Pinch of VAULT in February 2024.

Roles: playwright (book, lyrics), musical arrangement (with Ledet), performer, producer

  • THE SECOND SHOT

Barb is a stroke survivor, widow, owner of a shotgun sports ranch in West Texas, and weeks away from honoring her dead husband Russ’s dream of giving the family land back to the Lipan Apache to protect it forever from oil development. With help from Mark, a still-closeted friend in love with Russ since childhood, and H, a young war vet with PTSD and emerging gender questions, Barb might just make it out whole. But leaving is more dangerous than it looks when unresolved grief lurks in familiar soil.

A two-act three-hander ruminating on queerness, climate change, #LandBack, gun culture, the American West, and war abroad and at home, THE SECOND SHOT is available for further development opportunities.

THE SECOND SHOT has been twice supported by the HBMG Foundation’s National Winter Playwrights Retreat in Creede, CO.
